Upgrade the factory low-pressure turbo on your CAT C15 ACERT with modern Garrett ball bearing technology while retaining the factory compound turbo configuration.
The factory BXS, MXS, and NXS C15 ACERT engines use journal bearing high- and low-pressure turbochargers. While the factory compound system is proven, the stock low-pressure turbo can become a limitation when you're looking for improved response and additional airflow from the factory-style compound setup.
The Momentum Worx 88MM Ball Bearing Low Pressure Turbo Upgrade takes the proven Garrett GTA5518BR ball bearing CHRA used on later SDP applications and adapts it to OEM-style ACERT compressor and turbine housings.
The result is a high-performance, factory-location upgrade designed to deliver improved transient response, increased top-end airflow, and stronger high-RPM performance without requiring a complete single-turbo conversion.

Unlike an upgrade that simply increases compressor wheel diameter, the major changes here are the 10-blade high blade count compressor wheel and Garrett ball bearing center section.
Compared with the factory 6+6 compressor wheel, the high blade count design is intended to provide improved top-end airflow, while the ball bearing CHRA reduces friction and improves transient response.
The result is a more responsive, higher-flowing low-pressure turbo while retaining the factory-style ACERT compound system.
Factory-Location Installation
