The factory BXS, MXS, and NXS C15 ACERT engines use journal bearing high- and low-pressure turbochargers. While the factory system is proven, the stock high-pressure turbo can become a restriction when you're looking for improved response and additional airflow from the factory compound setup.

Factory Turbo vs. Momentum Worx Ball Bearing Upgrade

The larger 70MM compressor provides substantially more airflow capacity than the factory 62MM unit, while the Garrett ball bearing center section reduces friction and improves turbo response.

You get the airflow of a significantly larger compressor without giving up the responsive characteristics you want from the high-pressure turbo in a compound system.

Factory-Location Installation

This turbo uses OEM-style compressor and turbine housings and is designed to install in the factory high-pressure turbo location on BXS, MXS, and NXS CAT C15 ACERT engines.

That means you can upgrade the high-pressure side of the factory compound system without custom turbo mounting.

Important Oil Feed Line Note

The factory high-pressure turbo oil feed line can be reused with this turbo. However, clearance around the heat sink fins on the Garrett ball bearing center section can be tight.
