The Garrett GTX4720R Gen II Supercore (851285-5013S) takes the proven GTX47 platform and turns the airflow up to eleven. Designed for builders chasing serious horsepower, the GTX4720R combines Garrett's latest Gen II compressor technology with a massive 120mm compressor wheel and the proven GTX47 turbine section to deliver exceptional airflow and efficiency at extreme power levels.

Unlike a complete turbocharger, this supercore includes the compressor housing, CHRA, turbine wheel, and shaft assembly, but does not include a turbine housing. This allows racers and fabricators to pair the turbo with the turbine housing A/R and flange configuration best suited for their specific application.

The GTX4720R features a large-frame billet Gen II compressor wheel with a massive 120mm exducer. The larger compressor design significantly increases airflow potential over traditional GTX4709 configurations, making it an excellent choice for high-horsepower diesel competition engines, drag racing applications, truck pulling, and custom performance builds.

On the turbine side, Garrett retained the proven GTX47 turbine wheel measuring 93mm inducer and 84mm exducer. This turbine wheel provides the exhaust flow capacity needed to support substantial boost levels while maintaining durability in the harshest racing environments.
