CAT C15 Acert Turbos & Manifold Package | Refresh Kit
The 15.2L Caterpillar C15 Acert engines produced from 2004-2007 are coveted as some of the best early emissions motors on earth. The BXS, MXS, and NXS serial prefixes were able to skirt having an EGR, SCR, or DPF by the utilization of intake valve actuators (IVA) to control emissions. Aside from these motors increased displacement (15.2L up from 14.6L), achieved by longer stroke, these motors were included a COMPOUND TURBO CHARGER SYSTEM; ie a high pressure turbo and low pressure turbo.
While the compound turbos provide a wide plentiful powerband, they are HEADACHE to work on, they have multiple bellows, clamps, o-rings, and unique sealing apparatuses that make even the smallest repair and all day job that costs you SEVERAL trips back to the dealership for additional components. Momentum Worx has come up with a solution for this! We not only include a new performance manifold and a FRESH set of turbos, we also include every last piece of hardware that you will NEED to get your engine back together!
