The streets kept asking… so we built it.

If you own a Caterpillar C15 ACERT, you already know the factory setup uses journal bearing high and low pressure turbos. It works… but if you’re chasing every last bit of response and airflow from a factory-style compound setup, “works” isn’t the goal.

This turbo takes the proven Garrett Motion GTA4294BRS ball bearing center section from the later SDP platform and adapts it into OEM-style ACERT housings for a true factory-location performance upgrade.

In plain English?
You get modern ball bearing turbo technology without reinventing your whole engine bay.


What Makes This Turbo Different?

Factory High Pressure Turbo:

  • 62MM compressor inducer
  • Journal bearing center section
  • Slower response under transient load
  • Limited airflow on the top end

  • Massive 70MM compressor inducer
  • Genuine Garrett ball bearing CHRA

That larger compressor wheel allows the turbo to move more air, while the ball bearing center section reduces friction and improves transient response.

True Bolt-On Installation*

This turbo uses OEM-style compressor and turbine housings, making installation straightforward for BXS, MXS, and NXS applications.

No custom piping. No weird fabrication. No moving half the engine around.

Bolts into the factory location like it belongs there—because it does.

*Installation note: We strongly recommend pairing this with our low-profile oil feed line for proper clearance over the ball bearing CHRA cooling fins.
