CAT injectors are often referred to by their two-digit identifiers in the diesel community — and each brings unique fuel flow characteristics for different horsepower targets:

• 57s (10R0957 / 10R8501) – Perfect for stock or mild builds up to ~550HP, maintaining factory-balanced fueling with reliable combustion.
• 58s (10R0958 / 10R8502) – A step up in fuel flow for moderate performance upgrades with larger turbos (up into the 700-750HP range with supporting mods).
• 55s (10R0955) – The big-dog injectors from marine/industrial applications — flows about ~30% more than 57s, ideal for builds targeting ~1000HP with big single-turbo
• 59s (10R0959) – One of the largest stock-style injector out there — capable of supporting north of 1000HP when paired with the right turbo and tuning.
