Garrett GTA4708BS | Detroit Series 60 14L 685HP Turbo - 761302-5002S

We have talked about it many times, but Detroit has a "secret turbo menu" and this is just another turbo from that offering!  Labeled as a "stock" turbo for a 685HP Detroit Series 60 14L engine, this thing is packing an big ole boreless billet wheel, and a high flowing turbine with a very tight exhaust housing!   Brand new, Genuine Garrett turbocharger.  

What makes this turbo special compared to regular Garrett Series 60 turbos is that it has a pretty large BILLET 80MM Wheel in it!  This coupled with a fairly small 1.27A/R exhaust housing makes for a pretty rowdy turbo (especially for a stock offering!)  This billet wheel is also bore less (meaning the wheel acts at the nut, its threaded directly on to the turbine shaft), which may not come with any direct performance advantages but is a clear indication of superior build quality.
