Momentum Worx STREET SPOOL | Garrett GTX5533 Turbo

The Momentum Worx STREET SPOOL is THE high performance turbo for working trucks making big power ON THE STREET.

The Garrett GTX5533 has been used on many race trucks (and some working trucks) for years at this point, but the exhaust housing options often made the trucks a little less drivable unless you really were paying close attention.  What makes the street spool different is the combo of a ball bearing CHRA, paired up with an OEM style wastegated T6 divided exhaust housing, also featuring a standard marmon exhaust discharge to mate up with standard commercial truck exhaust systems.  

The factory Garrett exhaust housings are all open flow, which presents a bit of a hurtle for low RPM high displacement diesel engines.  By switching to a divided housing on the STREET SPOOL, you can expect much less turbo lag.  The integrated wastegate also keeps the turbo from over spooling, so you can worry about driving the truck instead of baby sitting the gauges.
